Michele d’Alessandro

Michele d'Alessandro is an Italian photographer based in Chicago. He is currently earning a Photography BA at Columbia College Chicago and has previously earned an Associate’s Degree in Photography from City Colleges of Chicago. Michele takes pride in his passion for learning and his positive and empathic mindset, which allow him to grow and learn from the mentors and peers around him.

Michele is versatile in independently utilizing a darkroom, and with making pictures both in analog and digital, where knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator allows for flexibility on visual arts projects. He is also refining his printing, framing, and art handling skills by working at the Museum of Contemporary Photography, where he is part of the Operations Team.

In the immediate future Michele is looking forward to making new professional experiences and foster connections with fellow photographers and artists.
